Peaceful Parlour, a general store for the conscious consumer and community gathering place, recently opened in Geneva, IL.  We offer products that are locally made, USA made, natural or organic, hand crafted and made from renewable or sustainable materials.  Our focus is to find products with environmental and community benefits, supporting local artists, small businesses, fair trade and women co-op groups around the world.  We are the “go to place” for individuals who are conscious of the earth’s limited natural resources and are looking for ways to live more sustainably.

Our own Peaceful Parlour Collection allows the consumer to blend a number of body products such as bath salts, scrubs and lotion with essential oil blends to customize their aromatherapy experience.  Our signature tea, Peaceful Synergy, decreases stress while restoring vital energy.

We offer periodic product demonstrations to educate the consumer about the aromatherapy products in the store so they can create their custom bath experience, make foot soaks, body scrubs and bath bombs.  Groups such as the girl scouts or bridal parties will be able to meet in the store and make their own bath bombs while enjoying our signature tea.  Other workshops include:  clothing and handbag swaps; meditation; belly dancing, build your own rain bench, Bead For Life parties to support women in Africa; and creating vision boards.

Peaceful Parlour has a free book exchange!  We will accept donated books and display them for customers to borrow or keep.  We have a comfy chair nearby so folks can relax, peruse the books and take a breather from the outside hectic world.
